1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Questelon collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Bountrek mobile app.
Bountrek is a mobile gaming rewards app where users can play games, earn in-app coins, track wallet activity, and submit reward or withdrawal requests.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Bountrek, we may collect the following information:
- Account information, such as user ID, email address, username, and profile details.
- Authentication information needed to sign in and manage your account.
- Gameplay and reward activity, including game sessions, coin activity, login streaks, referral activity, and reward progress.
- Wallet and transaction activity, including coin balances, reward transactions, redemptions, and withdrawal requests.
- Payout method details you provide, such as PayPal email address and account holder information, when payout features are used.
- Support messages and contact requests submitted through the app.
- Advertising and device-related information collected through advertising and analytics services, such as ad events, ad performance, and device identifiers where applicable.
- Security and anti-abuse information used to detect fraud, suspicious activity, misuse, or rule violations.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, operate Bountrek features, track rewards and wallet activity, review withdrawal requests, prevent abuse, provide support, show ads, improve the app, and comply with legal or platform requirements.
4. Ads and third-party services
Bountrek may use services such as Google Firebase, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, and payout providers such as PayPal where payout features are used. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
5. Rewards, coins, wallet, and withdrawals
Bountrek coins and reward features are in-app features used to track app activity and reward progress. Withdrawal and reward requests may be reviewed for eligibility, availability, fraud prevention, security, abuse detection, and compliance with Bountrek rules.
Reward requests, withdrawals, and related activity may be delayed, adjusted, declined, or blocked if suspicious activity, misuse, duplicate claims, fraud, or rule violations are detected.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to provide app functionality, process support or payout-related activity, serve and measure ads, protect against abuse, or comply with applicable laws and platform requirements.
7. Data security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to help protect user data, including authentication controls, database security rules, admin review processes, anti-abuse checks, and restricted access to sensitive data.
Some records, such as transactions, withdrawals, redemptions, admin reviews, and fraud-prevention records, may be retained where necessary for legal, security, accounting, or anti-abuse purposes.
7a. South African users — POPIA and your rights
Bountrek is operated by Questelon (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/535416/07, a company registered in South Africa. Where this Privacy Policy applies to South African users, we handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Under POPIA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, to object to how we process it on reasonable grounds, and to complain to South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe we have not handled your information lawfully.
Questelon (Pty) Ltd's Information Officer is its Director, registered with South Africa's Information Regulator as required under POPIA section 55. To exercise any of these rights, or to reach the Information Officer directly, email support@questelon.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

8. Account deletion and data requests

9. Children
